My name is Alan, and I founded Wigan Pet Farewells to provide local families with the kind of care, compassion and personal service I would want for my own pets.

I understand that saying goodbye to a beloved companion is one of the most difficult experiences any pet owner can face. Pets are family. They share our homes, our routines, our happiest moments, and when the time comes to say goodbye, they deserve to be treated with dignity, respect and kindness.

That’s why I do things differently.

When you contact Wigan Pet Farewells, you deal directly with me from start to finish. I personally collect your pet from your home or veterinary practice, oversee every stage of the arrangements, and personally return your pet’s ashes to you. There are no call centres, no handovers and no strangers involved. Just one person caring for your pet throughout the entire journey.

My commitment is simple:

• Individual cremation only – never communal cremations.
• Personal collection from your home or vet.
• Ashes returned within 72 hours.
• Honest pricing with no hidden costs.
• Compassionate support when you need it most.

Having helped many families through the loss of their pets, I know that every animal has their own story and a special place in the hearts of those who love them. Whether you’re saying goodbye to a dog, cat, rabbit, guinea pig or another cherished companion, I will care for them with the same respect and dignity I would expect for my own.

My aim is to make an incredibly difficult time just a little easier by providing a service that is personal, transparent and genuinely caring.
